1. This Agreement
1.1 The Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms” or “Agreement”) are a legally binding agreement between you and Gather (“Gather,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
“Platform” means any Gather website, mobile application, or service, including content we provide and communications we send.
By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and all incorporated policies, including our Privacy Policy and any additional guidelines posted on the Platform.
If you are using Gather on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1.2 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date and may notify you of material changes.
Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
2. Eligibility, Accounts, and Termination
2.1 Eligibility

3. Payments, Tokens, and Subscriptions

3.2 Tokens and Event Payments

Does not guarantee how hosts use funds

Does not control host spending

Is not responsible for disputes over value or cost-sharing
Tokens have no cash value, are not legal tender, are non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash unless required by law.
Use your judgment before purchasing tokens or attending paid gatherings.
3.3 Automatic Renewals
If you purchase a subscription, it may automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
4. Content and Privacy
4.1 Your Content
“Content” includes any text, images, messages, event details, or other material you submit to Gather.
You are responsible for your Content and represent that:

It is lawful and accurate

It does not violate others’ rights
4.2 License to Gather
You retain ownership of your Content, but you grant Gather a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, display, modify, and distribute your Content to operate and promote the Platform.
This license survives account termination.
4.3 Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
We are not responsible for how other users use information you share with them.
5. Platform Rules and User Conduct
5.1 Acceptable Use

6.2 Assumption of Risk
By attending or hosting a gathering, you acknowledge and assume all risks, including:

Illness

Theft

Harassment or misconduct by others
You attend gatherings at your own risk.
7. Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Gather and its founders, employees, contractors, and affiliates from all claims arising from:

8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gather from any claims arising out of:

Our total liability is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months
